Nicole met Matthew her first weekend after moving to New York City. He had seen her at church and thought she was cute, so after their first meeting and a few nervous exchanges he finally asked her on their first date. After visiting MoMA and over burgers at Burger Joint they realized they had almost met each other twice before, and that they shared a common love of just about everything the other liked.

They decided to make things official not long after that and spent just about all their free time together. And over the next year and a half, they kept spending their time together. They visited visited museum and went on road trips. They survived new jobs and new apartments.

A year later, on his birthday, Matthew proposed below the Brooklyn Bridge (she said yes!).

Our reception will be held at the Prince Street Penthouse at 177 Prince Street in New York City.

Not sure of the best way to get there? No problem.

If you're taking the subway, the Prince Street Penthouse is located two blocks from the C and E trains at Spring Street, and three blocks from the 1 train at Houston Street. For your own customized directions click through to the Prince Street Penthouse for a little help from Google Maps.

But don't forget to RSVP so the doorman knows you'll be coming to celebrate with us.

A lot of our awesome friends and family are traveling from outside the state, so we've put together a list of our favorite places, restaurants, and attractions for you to catch while you're in town.
We don't know anyone in New York City who doesn't love The Highline. We once even brought our laptop and snacks and made it the backdrop for a movie night.
Everyone loves the Brooklyn Bridge, but we think we love it most. It's where we had our first kiss, so extra points for anyone who sends us a photo of you kissing your significant other there, too.
Be the most adventurous of our friends and family and go to Brooklyn to visit the MTA Transit Museum. It's one of our favorite museums in NYC. Plus, how can you go wrong with NYC history and dozens of old train cars?
Every one raves about those other NYC burger joints (we're looking at you Shake Shack!), but we swear by Joy Burger Bar. We're all about the grilled onions and garlic aioli.
It's about as far from a normal tourist destination as you can get, but Taco Mix is worth it. We promise. We've been here more times than any other restaurant in our whole lives, and we always order the tacos al pastor.
Visit Jane's Carousel and enjoy the 1922 restored wooden horses in all their glory. It's where we got engaged!
